Next time 100% have to chai flights at Pip's (they also make tiny donuts fresh and crispy). There are also lava tubes in Portland if you can find the right guide - if you accidentally find one don't go in without hunting up someone with a map/experience first. Saddle Mountain has finally reopened and there are wildflowers and butterflies there not found anywhere else. When it's cold but not snowy a lot of people opt to spend a week or two doing a nice quiet hot springs tour 🙂

My dad worked in the east side mill (Publisher's originally) for 43 years. :-) My cousins on my mother's side ended up gifting the last patch of inclusion into Silver Falls not that long ago; there's still an old homestead up there. 🙂 A cousin on my dad's side took me rappelling down South Falls when I was 17 and the rope was about 25 ft short lol nice drop into the water...they will 100% not let you do that anymore ;-) Thanks for coming and enjoying it!
